SCCU began in 1951 as Patrick Air Force Base Credit Union with 7 founding members serving 28 members with $372 in assets. Today, SCCU serves more than 623,000 members. We have over $8.6 billion in assets, making us the third-largest credit union in Florida. We serve 34 counties, with 65 branch locations that span Florida’s east coast, from Flagler to Miami-Dade counties.

As a member-owned financial cooperative, we exist to serve our membership. In many ways, we resemble a bank, offering the same services like checking, savings, and loans, but we differ in one major way, and that difference is YOU! You are not a customer; You’re a member and an owner of the credit union. So, our profits are returned to members in the form of better rates, lower fees, and enhanced services. We have local decision-making and strive to deliver exceptional service to our members.
